11 Months Old and Walking!

That's right...little man is on the move. He's wobbly still and sometimes gets so excited he tries to run, which then makes him fall down cause he's top heavy. But nevertheless, he's walking! Look out world, here Jack comes!

Jack turned 11 months old yesterday and took his first official steps the night before. Other changes include that he will NOT eat baby food anymore, so at daycare they have to open a jar, offer it to him, and then throw it away (it's a law to give offer it to them until they are 12 months old). Then they give him whatever the "big kids" are having and he eats it up! My suggestion was to offer it to Jack, but then give it to the little boy in his class who will only eat baby food (who is 14 months old) and give Jack that little boy's share of big food. I think the director went for it.

Jack also recently started saying "Dada," but in true male fashion, only "talks" when he feels like it. I guess I should count my blessings that he's not always talking my ear off?

He's such a sweet baby...he loves on me and Johnny and his teachers at school (hugs and kisses now). I could just eat him up!
