Check Ups!

Both of my babies had check ups yesterday, and both of them had to get shots (bummer). They're just growing up so fast and they're both healthy, happy babies. Here are the current stats:

Jack (18 months)
Height 33 1/2 inches (90th percentile)
Weight 27.6 pounds (75th percentile)

Also, Jack is saying several words. He's not using all of them all the time, but he can say the following words:
Mama, Dada, Sister, puppy, backpack, milk, football, ball, no, night night, fish, bath, Nana (for Nana and banana), snack, cracker (doesn't really sound much like cracker, though), please, and MINE!!!Of course, mine is his favorite!

He is also loving his Music and Me class at daycare. It's a Kindermusik program that he attends once a week and he just loves it. We have the at home kit as well and last night we played with his rhythm sticks. My sweet little boy has quite the musical streak.

We will also be moving Jack to his toddler bed soon. He wakes up in the morning (at 5:00) and immediately wants one of us, so this way, maybe he can find his way to our bed instead of standing there yelling and crying until we get up. Here's hoping!

Cate (4 months)
Height 25 inches (75th percentile)
Weight 13.6 pounds (50th percentile)

Baby Cate is still a sweet, sweet girl. She's still eating 4 ounces every 3 hours, so Dr. Henderson gave us the okay to start solids. When we try to feed her more than 4 ounces, she spits up much more than normal. Maybe the solids will help stretch her for a bit. Fortunately, she doesn't wake up at night to eat very often, and she's big enough now to try letting her cry it out when she does, so I'll think about it.She is cooing so much...quite the talker. She can also roll over from her tummy to her back when she's so inclined and has spent some time in her bouncer and seems to like that as well. I just can't believe how fast she's growing!
