Cate is 1!

My baby girl turned 1 yesterday. Her birthday party isn't until next weekend, so I'll post pictures then, She had her appointment with Dr. Henderson today, so I thought i'd post her stats.

Height: 2 ft, 5.5 inches
Weight: 21 lbs, 3.2 oz.

They have a new system where they print out growth charts, but the percentiles are not very clear. She's slightly above average for height and right around 50% for weight, so her growth has leveled off some. That doesn't surprise me at all. Poor baby got 4 shots and was NOT happy about it. After her initial cries, she had a few extra grunts for us...with definite attitude to spare. Wonder where she gets that?

She was in such a good mood the past couple of days, I think we're over the worst of this last round of teething. Three top teeth at once, and they were slow coming in. She's been miserable for the past month or so! Her little personality is starting to shine. I'm afraid she's going to be my little daredevil. I've already caught her climbing into Jack's chair and onto the couch. She can be very sassy,but also is very lovable and is giving us hugs and kisses. She still adores her big brother, but she loves his stuff even more!

She has been walking for about a month now and can stand up on her own from sitting. She is totally off formula and the bottle. Yay for that! She says Mama, Dada, Jaja, dudududu when she sees the dogs, and uh oh when she drops something. She babbles pretty constantly. She eats anything we put in front of her and a lot of it! So refreshing since Jack is so picky these days. She loves sweets (she'd rather have chocolate milk...who can blame her?) and she is super attached to me right now (she will grow out of it, she will grow out of it...). She has golden, curly hair that will now go up into tiny little pigtails...so cute...and the most kissable, chubby cheeks! She is our precious, perfect little girl!
