This weekend Jack got to spend some quality time with LOTS of cousins! Unfortunately, I only got pictures of one of the visits...typical...I'm such a bad mom when it comes to picture and video taking!
First, Jack spent Friday and Saturday with Johnny's nieces Presleigh, Payton, and Paxton. They are 9,8, and 6 respectively and they LOVE playing with him. Needless to say he was fully entertained both of the days he was there. I picked him up on Sunday afternoon and he was one tired little guy.
On Monday, we did lots of visiting with cousins on my side. First, we went to visit my Aunt Roxanne and cousin Alana. Alana is my age and my Aunt Roxanne and mom are very good buddies. Alana has three kiddos, Jaylen, Jocelyn, and Jayce. They are also a bit older than Jack (5, 3, and 2...I think). He still had fun and got lots of new toys to bring to Nana's for when he visits there.
Finally, on Monday afternoon we visited my cousin Shawn and her 4 kiddos. The triplets, Vivian, Veronica, and Zachary, are 3 and the baby, Valerie, is 9 months. Finally, Jack had someone his size to play with...sort of. Valerie is a little bit but is super spunky and was NOT afraid to push Jack out of her way when she wanted to play with her toy. You go girl! Jack didn't really know what to think, so he just kept scooting around the toy trying to get away. Mommy was very proud that he did not push her back...he needs to practice being bossed around by his baby sister.
We had a great time and learned that wooden blocks make great teethers. Both babies couldn't get enough of these! They were covered in slobber by the time we left...gross, but hey, whatever works!
We need to get together sooner. Jack loves to socialize and I want him to get to know his cousins even if they do live far away.
